When we returned the car to San Stefano Travel, they told Margarita's Car Hire about the bump and described the damage over the phone. Margarita's Car Hire said, would we be happy to pay €100? We said we thought that was reasonable (the excess was €300). The next day we went in to pay. The man said, 'Forget it: I poured boiling water on it, applied hot air and pressed it out myself. I don't need to take it to a garage. No charge.' Fair or what?
